After last year’s less than stellar economy, a lot of people are trying to be more conservative in the way they spend their money. While a lot of people are trying to save more money for themselves and their family, it seems like a lot of people are also under the impression that it takes a lot of work to find good deals and save money. While this may have been true in the past, now that the Internet is in existence, tracking down great deals on just about anything is really only a couple of clicks away.
In case you think I am simply exaggerating, let me give you a recent personal example. At the end of March, I am going to be taking a short trip to visit a couple of old friends. One of the things that I am going to need for this trip is a rental car. Since I just wanted to get a reliable rental car at a low price, I got online, spent ten minutes looking for car rental discount codes, and found one that allowed me to reserve my rental car at a really great price.
