I am just as aware as anyone else of the fact that the economy is in a very bad place right now. Not only do I see on the news on almost a daily basis (whether the news I am getting is coming from the Internet, television or a newspaper), but I have personally felt the impact of this problem in my own life. In addition to taking a major hit to my investment portfolio, I have had at least four or five people who are very close to me who have lost their jobs (not to mention the dozens of people I know on a more casual basis who have also lost their jobs).

While things definitely could be much better right now, I think the important thing for us all to do is stand strong. Therefore, while it is quite obvious that we have all made changes in our lives and will have to continue to do so, we don’t have to start living.
